This random wheel picks one option from any list you give it: names for a classroom, prizes for a giveaway, chores, restaurants or the next game to play. Edit the list, press Spin the wheel, and the pointer lands on your winner. Your list is saved in your browser, so it’s still there next time.
How to use the spinning wheel
- Edit the list under “Edit your list”. Put one option on each line. You can paste hundreds of entries.
- Press Spin the wheel, or press the spacebar.
- Turn on “Remove winner” if each option should only win once, for example when picking students in turn.
- Switch sound or confetti off if you are in a quiet room.
- Prefer a list? Press the Wheel button to switch to list mode and pick several winners at once.

- Classroom name picker: paste the class list and turn on “Remove winner” so everyone gets a turn.
- Giveaways and raffles: add every entrant and spin on a live stream or in a meeting.
- Decisions: where to eat, what to watch, who does the dishes.
- Games: truth or dare, party challenges, random teams or turn order.
- Work: choose who presents first or which task to tackle next.
Is the wheel fair?
Yes. The winner is chosen before the wheel moves, using your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, and then the wheel spins to that slice. Every slice has exactly the same chance. The spin animation is only for show; it doesn’t affect the result. If you have turned on reduced motion in your device settings, the wheel stops almost instantly.
Tips
- Want one option to have a bigger chance? Add it to the list twice.
- Use Shuffle list to randomize the order of everything, which works well for turn order.
- The share link includes your list, so others can spin exactly the same wheel.

Frequently asked questions
How many entries can the wheel hold?
You can add up to 1,000 lines. Labels get small when there are many slices, so for very long lists the list mode is easier to read.
Can I remove the winner after each spin?
Yes. Tick "Remove winner" and the winning option is taken off the wheel and out of your saved list.
Is my list saved?
Yes, in your browser only. Nothing is uploaded. It will still be there when you come back on the same device.
Can I share my wheel?
Press Share. The link includes your list and the last result.
Does the spinning animation decide the winner?
No. The winner is picked fairly first, then the wheel animates to it.
Can I turn off the sound?
Yes. Untick "Sound" below the wheel. You can also turn off confetti.
